Tips for visiting Prague

  • A 90-minute public transport ticket costs 50 CZK and a 24-hour ticket costs 150 CZK; buy before boarding and validate paper tickets.
  • Regular public transport tickets are not valid on the Airport Express (AE) bus, which has its own fare.
  • Bus 59 from the airport reaches Nadrazi Veleslavin metro station in about 15 minutes, and the metro ride to the centre takes about 15 minutes.
  • Tickets can also be bought with the PID Litacka app or at machines in the metro.
  • Check that your accommodation has air conditioning if you visit in summer, as not all places do.
